Ecocentre

We invite you to drop off your residual materials during regular opening hours. Thank you for your cooperation and for your commitment to responsible waste management.

Please take note of the ecocentre’s schedule:

Closed: Entire month of December

Open: January 10 and February 7, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The March schedule will be announced based on weather conditions.

It is strictly forbidden to leave items outside the facility. Surveillance cameras are active at all times.

We invite you to bring your residual materials during the regular opening hours. Thank you for your collaboration and commitment to responsible waste management.

Usage Guidelines

  • Maximum quantity per visit: equivalent to a small trailer or pickup truck box (120 cm L x 240 cm W x 60 cm H)

  • 15 visits per calendar year per address (additional visits will be billed to the resident)

  • Contractors not permitted

  • Valid proof of residence with photo, as well as proof of origin of materials, required

  • Materials must be sorted prior to arrival at the Ecocentre

Bulky items:

  • Furniture

  • Heating appliances

  • Sanitary fixtures

  • Mattresses

  • Other large household items

Specific appliances:

  • Household appliances

  • Refrigerating appliances (fridges, freezers, air conditioners, etc.)

  • Electronic devices (computers, TVs, phones, etc.)

Household Hazardous Waste (HHW):

  • Aerosols

  • Batteries

  • Propane tanks (20 lb or less)

  • Paint, stains, sealants

  • Fire extinguishers

  • Used oil

Construction, Renovation and Demolition (CRD) debris:

  • Aggregates (≤ 45 cm), concrete, brick, mortar

  • Stone, asphalt, shingles

  • Wood, ceramic, gypsum, mineral wool

  • Melamine, vinyl, flat glass

  • Material packaging

Other:

  • Plastics #3 and #6 (polystyrene)

  • PVC

  • Tires under 22” without rims

  • Medications

  • Firearms, explosives, ammunition

  • Oversized tires

  • Branches, leaves, green waste

  • Household garbage

  • Regular recyclables (paper, cardboard, plastics #1, #2, etc.)

  • Adhesives

  • Compact fluorescent bulbs and fluorescent tubes

  • Ink cartridges

  • Chlorine and other pool chemicals

  • Strippers

  • Epoxy

  • Tar

  • Mercury

  • Pesticides

  • Cleaning products, degreasers

  • Solvents

  • Food waste

  • Toys

  • Furniture still in usable condition

  • Dishes

  • Clothing

  • Any reusable material or items meant for another recovery service
