Lost or found a pet?
Please contact our Animal Control Officer directly at 450-827-2538, extension 8.
Interesting Facts
Cats are a species that reproduce very rapidly. Currently, it is estimated that two cats can give birth to about 10 kittens per year. Each unsterilized kitten then produces the same number of babies, leading to approximately 20,000 cats in four years. That’s enormous!
Let’s be responsible and spay/neuter our pets to prevent overpopulation!
Wildlife
We have a diverse wildlife population in our area. It is not uncommon to encounter white-tailed deers along our roads. Therefore, we encourage all citizens to remain cautious while traveling on our road network.
Did you know that the most common times to encounter deer are at dawn and dusk? It is essential to be extra vigilant during these times.
Found a dead or injured animal along numbered roads 201, 202, or 209? Please contact the Quebec Ministry of Transport by dialing 5-1-1.
On other roads in our municipality? Feel free to contact us at 450-827-2538, extension 7.
