Fire department
The Franklin Fire Department is responsible for making the Town of Franklin safer by protecting lives, property and the environment. This mission is achieved by intervening in all types of emergencies, including fires, rescues during medical emergencies, emergency measures, and by continuing our actions in prevention, public education and security.
It is composed of about twenty part-time firefighters, with the necessary training to respond to emergency calls either to fight fires or to handle the Jaws of Life during road accidents.
