Fire Department
The Franklin Fire Department is responsible for enhancing the safety of the municipality of Franklin by protecting lives, property, and the environment. This mission is achieved through responding to various emergencies, including fires, medical emergencies requiring rescue operations, and other urgent situations. The department also focuses on prevention, public education, and safety initiatives.
It consists of about twenty part-time firefighters who are trained to respond to emergency calls, whether it involves firefighting or using extrication tools during road accidents.
