First Responders
This service was implemented to reduce wait times for emergency assistance. First responders dispatched by CAUCA (9-1-1) arrive on scene based on call code and priority to assess patient conditions, stabilize them, and administer initial aid following established operational protocols until paramedics arrive. In emergencies, response time is often critical.
This service operates 24/7. Volunteers undergo comprehensive training including theoretical courses and practical simulations. The Municipality provides a new emergency vehicle equipped with necessary supplies such as oxygen and a defibrillator.
