The Municipality has infrastructure concentrated at Antoine-Labelle Park, where the Recreation Centre is located at 2555 Parc Street.

The two dek hockey surfaces are converted into ice rinks for hockey and free skating.
In honour of Curé Labelle on September 8, 2013, the Municipality of Franklin inaugurated Antoine-Labelle Park in tribute to the first parish priest of Saint-Antoine-Abbé.
Recreation Centre:
The Recreation Centre is located at 2555 Parc Street, where an indoor room can be rented for family gatherings. Indoor activities are also available.

Recreation Centre Halls
The Municipality is pleased to offer you a hall for groups and associations (for holding activities and meetings) and for instructors (to conduct classes or workshops). The hall can also be rented by individuals for weddings, special anniversaries, or any other occasion.

- The small room can accommodate about ten people;
- The large hall has an indoor area of approximately 233.70 m² and can accommodate up to 200 people.
Book a venue
If you wish to proceed with renting or reserving a venue, you must fill out the rental contract and submit it to the Recreation Department for review. For any inquiries, please contact the Leisure Service at 450-827-2538.
Rental policy

For each rental of the community centre and its equipment, whether free or paid, short or long term, a numbered lease must be signed. This is to identify a legally responsible person, on behalf of a group, association, or privately.

The lease will establish the rights, duties, and obligations of both the landlord and the tenant. For paid activities, full payment of the rental cost will be due at the signing of the lease.

For non-paid activities, a deposit equivalent to the rental value is required.

All non-profit organizations in the municipality of Franklin have free access to the community centre for their activities: meetings, leisure activities, dinners, etc.

The rental of the hall to organizations mentioned in item 2, for fundraising activities, fundraisers, etc., is free if the primary purpose is to fund their organizations. However, a damage deposit of $175 must be submitted by the organization at the beginning of each year.

To promote educational, sports, and artistic training for the citizens of our municipality, the rental fee for all types of classes is $10 per class.

The rental of the hall for weddings, marriages, political meetings, or other private events, is governed by a fixed rate of $175 per day or evening. However, a damage deposit of $175 must be submitted by the renter. The rental of the hall for a baptism reception or a reception after funerals is $75.

The rental of the small room (locker room) for all for-profit activities is $25.

A calendar will be established outlining the priority dates for annual events: National Holiday on June 24th, Canada Day on July 1st, Carnival (end of January and beginning of February). Priority is also given to local clubs, such as the Golden Age Club.
