By-Laws
New Property Owners
It is possible that the property tax bill for your property was sent to the previous owner. However, this does not exempt you from the obligation to pay your taxes according to the deadlines set by the Municipality of Franklin. It is important to note that the Municipality does not issue a new tax bill when there is a change of ownership; only one bill is issued annually.
If you are a new property owner, it is your responsibility to obtain your tax bill. If you haven’t received your bill, you can contact the Taxation Department to obtain information about your tax account.
Change of Address
It is important to notify us of any change in the postal address where your tax bill is sent as soon as possible. You can do this by phone, mail, or email to the following address: info@municipalitedefranklin.ca, and please mention your account number as a reference.
Municipal Assessment
Assessment Roll
The assessment service updates the necessary information to ensure that your property has a fair assessment and that the collected data correctly routes the annual tax bill.
You can consult the current property assessment roll for various properties in our territory. This data is available free of charge to the general public.
